Who is The Travel Principle?
Hi, I’m Laura Treciokas, founder of The Travel Principle. I handle every trip personally from first conversation to final details.

I grew up in Southern California and have called the East Coast home since college, but I have always felt most at home exploring. Curiosity about how people live, eat, celebrate, and experience the world has shaped both my travels and my career.

After earning a degree in Political Science, I worked as a journalist across print, radio, and television. That background shaped how I listen, ask questions, and understand what really matters to people. Over time, I saw how impersonal travel planning had become and wanted to create something more thoughtful and more human.

I founded The Travel Principle in 2022 to offer a more personal approach to planning meaningful trips and to help clients travel with intention and confidence.
